I am writing about GE MONEY BANK, El Paso, TX.  They are the bank that administers the Discount Tire Chain.  I have had this account for many years and never missed one payment up to last month.  They reported that one payment to my credit bureau.  I am aware that this occurs, but should not happen for one payment.  They have people that answer the phone who do not speak English.  Their customer service sucks.  The interest rate on this account is 24%.  Banks charge fees for everything they can.  They love to gouge the public. I would really suggest people cut up their credit cards for this bank.  They know you cannot dispute it, that it is there even if you write a letter of explanation.  It is time that congress stops this insanity and limits credit card fees.  It is time the government paid attention to their responsibility to the people of this country and remember the declaration of independence and remember this country is of the people and for the people.  Not for the convenience of banks.  People in other countries like the former Soviet Union pay cash --what a novel idea.  I used cash now all the time and love it. GE MONEY BANK, you stink!!!!
